BRAIN WASHINGTON live review – ARTROCKER MAG
Posted in Brain Washington, Death Pop Gigs on April 28, 2010 by deathpoprecordsBRAIN WASHINGTON LIVE at THE MILLER 17.04.10
“If Dastardly and Mutley formed a band, they might well be Brain Washington, who kick off tonight’s revue of cinematic/psychedlic acts wearing t-shirts that read ‘I LOVE ACID’. The band are pure B-movie rock and roll, dressed in ABBA-style white suits. The music is pre-punk but with elements of The Stooges, zooming along like a car chase from a ’70s cop show. What’s not to like? “

BOBBY CHAMPAGNE on THE TEETH’s imminent shows! via facebook
Posted in Death Pop Gigs, The Teeth on April 20, 2010 by deathpoprecords
Hello. Despite our matinee idol good looks and winning personalities, The Teeth are rarely recipients of facebook mail declarations of love or even matey banter. This is a situation that makes all 12 of our eyes slightly teary. To inflict our revenge on this cruel, unfeeling world, we have decided to spam everyone we know with news of our forthcoming pop shows. To be honest, it was either that or punching ourselves in the face.
Anyway… we will be playing an epoch-defining collection of songs to a largely disinterested group of people at two London venues in the next 10 days.
Scene of public disinterest #1 – The George Tavern, Whitechapel on Saturday 24th April
Scene of public disinterest #2 – Bloomsbury Bowling Lanes, Bloomsbury on Thursday 29th April
Although very few people care, we will be amazing. AND THAT’S A FACT.
Good day to you all, ‘fans’
