This is straight up pure and honest retro-psych-freakbeat-garage rock and its really bloody good. have noticed a whiff lately of a bunch of east London garage bands on the rise. Not sure it amounts to a full on revival, but for my ears Brain washington are far and away the pick of the bunch.
